Alexander Technique - Move Better, Feel Better

Are you in pain? Want to be free of chronic discomfort?

Musicians, Dancers, Actors and Sports-people

Want to perform better?

Alexander Technique can help!!

Comfort in daily life and excellence in skilled performance arise from good practical use of your body. To achieve this the AT gives you a resurgence of your natural ease and poise along with the knowledge of body structure and actions essential to freedom in movement.

Relief from discomfort and pressure is only a part of a learning experience that leads ultimately to greater understanding and self-control. You will learn how to be alert without anxiety or tension, to stand upright but not rigid, to relax but not collapse, to maintain composure under stress and to move and perform with poise.

The technique has been shown to be effective for back-pain in a large scientific study published by the British Medical Journal in 2008. (Online here).

Other scientific studies have shown improvement in movement coordination in health people and people with Parkinson's disease, improvements in balance, improvements in posture, music, dance and voice performance and in the ergonomics of computer use (References available on request).
